Documents reveal Victoria Police knew that Nazi's were coming to "support" anti-trans rally
Victoria Police Command knew for an hour that Nazi's were preparing to march on steps in alleged "support" of anti-trans bigots at the 2023 Let Women Speak rally.
Bombshell Documents obtained by myself under Freedom of Information Act from Victoria Police have revealed that Victoria Police Command knew that Nazi Protestors were planning to join “in support of the Let Women Speak group” almost an hour prior to their now infamous Nazi Salute “in support of” Kellie-Jay Keen on Parliament Steps in 2023. Raising serious questions about the intention of Victoria Police in dealing with the threat of extremism.
At 11:37am on the 18th of March 2023, the Nazi group was spotted by an Ambulance Victoria crew, who relayed their concerns to Victoria Police Command. Five minutes later, Victoria Police officers had also spotted the black clad group with Nazi tattoos and swastika necklaces. Noted down in the timeline of events, appears to be the redacted names of individual members of the National Socialist Network.
At 12:30pm according to the released documents, almost an hour after Victoria Police command were initially notified of their presence, the National Socialist Members took to the steps to sign the infamous Nazi Salute, allegedly “in support of the Let Women Speak group”, according to Victoria Police documents, at the anti-trans rally that Kellie-Jay Keen and Moira Deeming organised.
Police react violently — not to Neo-Nazis, but to Trans Protesters
Despite the fact that at 12:02PM, according to Victoria Police, "All groups (except [TERFS]), [were] combative and attempting to break police lines", OC spray was only deployed against the transgender activist group.
One police officer, has been taken to court after being caught on camera violently assaulting an activist by punching them in the face with no apparent warning or reason.
Victoria Police turned their violence against everyone but the Nazis
It is extremely concerning to learn that while Victoria Police saw combative behaviour from the Nazis, they still chose to turn their weapons of war against, and only against, those who were protesting fascism.
Why does Victoria Police believe it appropriate to turn their weapons of war against left-wing protestors, who quite rightly were out protesting disgusting acts of fascism, all the while noting — but ultimately ignoring violent neo-nazis?
I’ve put these questions to Victoria Police, but none of my enquiries have ever received a response.
Does it say if/when they advised the organisers of the TERF/LWS rally?
they knew because quite a few are their sons or nephews
