Health Secretary suggests reviewing violence incitement protections following arrest of disgraced former comedian who told followers on X to assault trans women.
An open call for trans and gender diverse people interested in helping to organise a national ‘Trans Day of Resistance’ has been put out by the Trans Solidarity Network — a group of transgender activists and advocates across Australia. The Trans Day of Resistance is planned for the date or weekend closest to Trans Day of Remembrance, which takes place on the 20th of November this year.

The hope is to make the event the largest national action for trans rights on the continent, with planned events in every capital and regional centre. The rallying cry for a Trans Day of Resistance is being supported by almost every trans affinity group across the country.
