A US Commentator known for claiming the French Presidentâs wife was a transgender woman, has been barred from entering Australia.
Former Daily Wire host Candace Owens was due to enter Australia in November for her speaking tour, however the Home Affairs Minister has since confirmed her visa has been denied. Ticketekâs website still sells tickets for $95 to the âCandace Owens LIVEâ tour in various cities across Australia.

The Home Affairs Minister, Tony Burke, cancelled Owensâ visa on the grounds that she planned to incite discord.
"Australia's national interest is best served when Candace Owens is somewhere else." the Minister was quoted saying.
Candace Owens made headlines in 2022 when she openly advocated for discrimination against transgender people on the basis that she believes society would be better if we were not embraced.
She is also known for comments denying the severity of the Holocaust, calling established facts such as Dr Josef Mengeleâs horrific torture of prisoners held by the Nazis âbizarre propagandaâ.
Chairman Dvir Abramovich of Anti-Defamation Commission, a pro-jewish group, told the ABC, âAustralia has no place for those who mock the suffering of genocide survivors and insult the memories of the 6 million Jews who perished,"
